On July 18, 2025, in the city of Dilijan, the Deposit Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Armenia held a panel session dedicated to its 20th anniversary, titled
“The Role of Deposit Insurance (Guarantee) Systems in Ensuring Financial Stability.”

The panel session was attended by representatives of deposit insurance organizations and central banks from member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Representatives of the Deposit Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic also joined the session via videoconference, including Executive Director K. Dj. Bukuev, Deputy Executive Director N. M. Baibosunov, and Agency staff.

During the session, the following key topics were discussed:

• The role of deposit insurance (guarantee) systems in ensuring financial stability;
• Integrated stress testing and simulation models as tools for enhancing the strategic resilience of deposit insurance system investment portfolios.
