As of March 31, 2025, the deposit protection system includes 21 banks and 2 microfinance companies licensed by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic to accept deposits.
The deposit base of the financial system continues to show steady growth. As of March 31, 2025:
total deposits amounted to 679.7 billion soms,
the assessment base for insurance contributions reached 569.5 billion soms.
The Deposit Protection Fund reached 7,961 million soms, increasing by 6.6% during the first quarter of 2025.
