Message from the Executive Director of the Deposit Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic
Dear Distinguished IADI Members and Guests,
On behalf of the Deposit Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, it is a great honour to invite you to the IADI Eurasia Regional Committee Annual Meeting and Workshop titled: “Collaborate, Coordinate, Communicate: Laying the Foundations for a Resilient Financial Safety Net.”
The event will be held in Bishkek from 2–4 June 2026 at the Orion Hotel, located in the city’s business district and surrounded by a beautiful park and greenery.
In light of the rapidly changing global financial landscape, the Agency considers face-to-face meetings increasingly vital. This gathering will serve as a key platform for the exchange of expertise, the strengthening of deposit protection mechanisms, and the fostering of closer cooperation among Eurasia Regional Committee members and workshop participants.
The three-day programme is designed to balance high-level regional meetings and workshop sessions with cultural networking opportunities. This will allow you to experience our national heritage set against the unique and breathtaking backdrop of the Tian Shan Mountains.

Online registration is now open. The registration deadline for this event is 15 May 2026.
Accommodation
We encourage you to complete the registration process as early as possible to take advantage of the negotiated rates at the venue, the Orion Hotel Bishkek. To book your reservation, kindly send an email to reservations@orionbishkek.com, including your full name, arrival date and time. Please ensure you include the code IADI EARC in the subject line of your email. If your travel plans change, please remember to cancel your accommodation at least 14 days prior to your scheduled travel date in order not to incur cancellation costs.

Visa information
We recommend that you verify the visa and entry requirements for Kyrgyz Republic and apply directly through the relevant Kyrgyzstan embassies or high commissions in your jurisdiction. Foreign nationals may apply for an electronic visa via this online portal depending on your visa requirements.
We encourage you to begin the visa application process as early as possible, as there may be delays in processing times. Passport(s) must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the intended date of entry.
