On February 19–20, 2025, bilateral meetings were held within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Citizens’ Deposits in Banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Deposit Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meetings, representatives of the IT Department of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek Deposit Guarantee Fund reviewed the Agency’s information and analytical system for managing payments and contributions.

The Agency’s specialists presented a test model of the system used to collect payments from participants of the deposit protection system and shared information on the planned modernization of the system, including the use of new technologies and digitalization of business processes to ensure prompt payment of deposit compensation in the event of an insured case.

Representatives of GNI Software were also invited to the meeting and delivered a detailed presentation on the capabilities of the information and analytical system, highlighting the possibility of customizing its technical and analytical modules according to user requirements.

It is worth noting that the Deposit Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Uzbekistan is currently conducting research into ready-made software solutions to implement an IT infrastructure for fulfilling its mandate to protect citizens’ bank deposits.
