On May 21–22, 2025, the Agency for Guaranteed Reimbursement of Bank Deposits of Individuals of the Republic of Belarus organized a regular meeting of the Expert Group under the Financial Markets Advisory Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
As of March 31, 2025, the deposit protection system includes 21 banks and 2 microfinance companies licensed by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic to accept deposits.
In accordance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Protection of Bank Deposits”, the Deposit Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter — the Agency) annually selects an independent audit firm to conduct an external audit and procures external audit services in compliance with public procurement legislation.

On March 25, 2024, employees of the Deposit Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic delivered a guest lecture on the deposit protection system for students of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic named after Zh. Abdrakhmanov as part of Global Money Week 2024.
On March 12 and 14, 2024, employees of the Deposit Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, as part of Global Money Week 2024, delivered a lecture on the deposit protection system.
From March 18 to March 24, 2024, Global Money Week 2024 will be held across all regions of the Kyrgyz Republic under the slogan “Earn – Save – Invest in Your Future.”
